Voxengo simply rocks.  I worked on a very low budget project that still required high quality audio, and the result was simply impressive.  Tube Amp and MSED leave you with better-than-average sounding mixes (and I've heard alot of "professional" works), yet they have the best price you will ever find around: Free.  If I ever do a lucrative audio work, I think I will invest in all Voxengo's VSTs

Kudos for the GREAT work Vox!

Voxengo Tube Amp is fabulous.  I tested 15 other tube amp emulators, and Voxengo kicked butt.  I plug my guitar directly into my laptop VST effect/looping system, and Voxengo adds a lot of warmth and naturalness to my tone.  Great plugin.

I use the Voxengo Tube Amp plug on damn near every single project...

I find it invaluable for some rather unusual uses...it brings accoustic instruments to life, warms vocals quite nicely, even works well on drums..or entire mixes!!!

I freekin' love this plugin, and i know you will too... you can hearit at use here:

http://www.songplanet.com/jimipocius on virtually every single song!!!

You won't find a better sounding tube style plugin anywhere at any price...

thanks to Voxengo for keeping it real, and making it FREE!!!

Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed using Tube Amp and the very elegant and subtle Lampthruster, whose quality is a bit mind boggling.  Really nice work.

If you have a problem with a guitar track and you don't think you can play it again.  I mean, it's magic but flawed, well if it's the tone that's the bother, it's quite possibly the harmonics.  Check out *Voxengo Tube Amp* ...  It's dirt cheap -- I mean free to air -- and it just might fix you up and then some.

Your Tube Amp plug-in is simply amazing on direct rock guitar tracks!  When used correctly, you can transform your direct guitar sound from "boxy" into mic'd Marshall stack tones.  It really works wonders.  I like to add a subtle touch of chorus to my guitar track, then put the Tube Amp plug with settings of: Drive= 0.0 (add to taste) Tube=1.19 Bias= 0.8% Out Gain= 1.5 db (adjust to taste).  Without a doubt, this is one of the best tube emulation plugs out there - and it's friggin' free!!

Really big fan of the Tube Amp, and the Recorder plugin has saved me loads of grief - really useful, great sounding plugins.  Cheers!

This is a great plugin!  And for free!

In stead of using a compressor or so you can use this to let a instrument come out in the mix.  No rules in audio! ;o)

You can even use this for mastering....
