I wanted to reply and let you know how much I enjoy using your products.  I run a small, professional studio in San Diego, CA and own a large plug-in library.  Voxengo products hold their own against their Waves counterparts and are always a part of the process here.  Keep up the great work, it is sincerely special in an industry inundated with garbage.

Sincerely,

David Hillshafer

I started using your plugin, on a mastering job the other day, and realized how incredible the linear eq is, it's so smooth and doesn't just work, but the first thing I noticed was it sounds incredible, it has a ora to it I can't explain, and competes with some of my not so inexpensive hardware eq's we use, it's a incredible plugin, and worth every penny, thanks for the awesome Plugin..  We master about 5 projects a week, and this has become a go to plugin

We recommend this free plugin to all user, we highly recommend it.

In the last article from best mixing techniques and Dynamic range

we posted Voxengo Spam like a useful plugin for work in your master channel.

For mastering very useful!

On every session I work on, Voxengo Span is at the end of my chain.  I've created my own template which makes the curve flat for a pink noise.  Since most of today's music approximate a pink noise, that's makes it very relevant.  I also made the sampling time longer, which makes the curve less dynamic.  It seems to be more truthful to how we experience loudness.

I think Voxengo Span is a very simple, yet effective metering plugin.  Since it's free, it's an unbeatable value for the money.

I absolutely love Voxengo plugs for flexibility, sound quality and value.  I recommend them to everyone I know.

I have various match EQ plugins including the one in LOGIC and the one in Ozone but this one is by far the most useful as I can export my EQ curves as .CSV files.  This means I can use them in a hardware DSP, where for example I don't want the latency.  I can also import a .csv curve, which means I can use my calibrated microphones, import their respective curves and create a recording with a totally flat response.  I can also create .csv curves Room EQ WIzard, which means I can use this as a measuring tool, then get my EQ into my software, where it is preferable to having it in hardware.  So I have created a hardware version of the ARC curve for my room on my master output.  And I have the EQ curves of various signal chains in AU/VST.  The one feature I think is missing for me is a better understanding of how the Q works on each filter band.  It would be useful to have an EQ calculator for those times when you see a fairly simple curve which you could dial into a parametric where exact EQ is not so critical.  An example of this is that I was trying to match two guitar pickups and only had limited EQ to do it.  I measured them using Curve EQ and I could see a fairly simple curve.  It would be nice to have an overlay showing potential settings for 2 or 3 band EQ that could be dialled into hardware to get a similar sound.  I am sure there is a formula somewhere to approximate EQ with a few bands of parametric but I probably wouldn't understand it ;/)

Voxengo Tube Amp does wonderful job for taming dynamic peaks.  So I say that Tube Amp can be used as a good bus compressor or a decent limiter.  If you raised Drive knob slightly, it would supress the peaks and would not result in any audible distortion.  If you reduced the dybamic of peaks by about 3 dB or little more, listeners would not notice audible difference between Tube Amp and expensive compressor or limiter plugins.  And the more important fact is that Tube Amp adds warm saturation of tube amp to your track.  So Tube Amp is perfect 'glue' compressor or limiter for master bus.  This is very easy solution.

I have had a 'bedroom studio' for the last few years and when it came time to look for mixing and mastering tools outside of Logic's own I did a lot of research into the different brands on the market.  Voxengo's was a name consistently associated with high praise.  Having bought numerous plug-ins from you I attest to the robustness, usability, elegance and effectiveness of the Voxengo tools and the audible improvements they made to my music.  The price, when looking at that of the competition, seems pretty cheap.

I use Crunchessor (powerful all-purpose compressor), Drumformer (great results) and Voxformer, Varisaturator, GlissEQ and HarmoniEQ and the smaller ones, like StereoTouch (so good), Warmifier (very subtle when used correctly) and LF Max Punch (instantly rewarding).  When I master I always use CurveEQ (brilliant design), Soniformer and Elephant.

As an amateur, it's hard for me to appreciate just how good these plug-ins are, because I've not tried a lot of the comparable tools from other companies, but as Voxengo always does the job in the way I want, I've no desire to look for any replacements.  When I used Elephant, I knew I wouldn't need another limiter; it doesn't add any colour to the mix and it's incredibly powerful.  The entire mix is simply elevated, louder, with no apparent negatives.  The only one I have no idea how to use is Soniformer, but the presets are really solid, so I don't feel the need to investigate further.

The saturation, EQ and compressors in Voxformer helped me fully realise what my voice could be.  I had no idea my vocals could sound so full and warm until I used it, and now my singing has matured to match that sound so well that I don't even need to dump loads of effects anymore, just any quick preset on the Voxformer and there you go: thicker, sunnier, glowing.

I'm so stoked I came across this site, and I will definitely get the Polysquasher in the sale this summer.

Voxengo is one of the few companies I wholeheartedly trust in my signal path.  Thank you for making state-of-the-art quality accessible outside of the studio.  I highly recommend 'Overtone GEQ', for sweetening and balancing, and 'OldSkoolVerb' for adding depth without sacrificing punch and clarity.  I can't thank you enough for your incredibly useful plugins!!!

After demoing everything out there Elephant stomped on everything!  It's versatility and transparency is truly fantastic and it's just got better with each update.

Pretty much nothing leaves the mastering studio without Elephant on it so in that sense it's one of my most used and relied upon processor.

I've also used MSED and SPAN for years and aim to pick up VariSaturator soon.

Top class tools for a very reasonable outlay 10/10

Keep it up and many thanks for your dedication and hard work!
