Hi
I'm currently mixing a large projekt in 24/96.
Unfortunately my DAW isn't powerfull enough to run all the plugs, so I have to convert to a lower samplerate before mixing.
I obviosly would like the source files to remain phase-locked.
Is it best (regarding phase) to convert from 96 to 48 kHz, or is 96 to 44.1 kHz just as accurate?
Regards, Michael.

Yes, the conversion is "phase locked" as long as all your source files have the same sample rate. In this regard, there is no difference between going from 96 to 48 or from 96 to 44.1.
