Aleksey.
Lately I have been having all sorts of problems with renaming files.
If I have the option "add suffix" unchecked, and try to save the converted file to an alternative folder, I get this error.
If I leave the box ticked, there is no error.
It doesn't seem to matter if I save the un-renamed file to the same folder (overwriting the original) - this works.
The error only happens when saving under the same name to a different folder.
Version of R8Brain Pro is latest one.

Make sure you do not have the "read-only" flag set on the files.

They're not.
Problem always seems to happen when explorer window is open.
As long as I have the "add suffix" option checked and with an extension, it works.
With this option unchecked, and saving to a different folder, I get the error.
I will try to discover if it happens repeatedly with explorer window closed, or just with it open. But there is definitely an issue here

I think I can't do anything about this. Probably you should simply have Explorer window closed. This error may happen (though it does not happen here) if the Explorer's internal procedures "lock" the file while it is routinely renamed by r8brain PRO (Explorer may "fish" the files to better know their content). I cannot do anything about this, and I do not have a solution for this either.

Fair Enough.
Appreciate the effort & attempts to sort it though.
And the honesty...
EDIT.
Here's an odd thing - I just forgot to close an explorer window - and it worked.

Well, no ideas why. :)
