I've been looking for the correct, yet warm "jazz mono" mid/side split proc for as far as i can remember, and when i tried the MSED (even in Inline mode, let alone its encoder/decorder split features) it blew me away, there's something in its re-summing algorithm that makes it sound much "warmer" than any other M/S sum processor... so, for that late-50s "general usage" or for the late 70s centered "high pass" when i'm balancing the mix, or going through some 10 year old colledge tapes, or touching up some rare press needledrops, ... or even for the occasional VHS transfer's NICAM recovery - MSED is the nicest M/S processor i found so far, and it's free!!! Thanks Alex!

Great little tool.
It is very handy and I use it a lot, as I almost always use a MS-setup in addition to close-ups in order to get a true ambience.
In my setups, it is also extremely powerfull to use the 'Sound Delay' Voxengo plugin for the close-up channels and thereby get the MSED output in perfect time/phase sync to these, but that is another story..
Thomas SteenYou´ve got great plugins. Smart, good looking, sophistique, clear to use, low CPU...etc. but first of all - they got unique style. Dont´start "copy" any classic effects, tape machines, or just anything. Just keep your own style and way to make plugins, there is so many copymakers in the business...
All the best for the New Year 2018!
