I'm glad to know that. :)

No problem :)
I find the EQ sounds perfect for that air.
One thing though - I'm always finding myself using the drive knob on Max - I don't touch the THR and the FR controls - mainly because I don't really understand what they're doing.
Does the Thr control the emphasis of the distortion? If so am I right in thinking it's a shelf filter control? The Drive control obviously works without these other controls, but it is very subtle and I'd like to be able to confidently control it more.
Kind regards
Dave Rich

THR allows you to drive some specific band into distortion - it is a bell filter.
FR is 'floor reducer' - it allows you to reduce noise floor at some specific frequency - add some amount of noise there. This does not work well always, but can be useful - to add some warmness (induced by noise) at some frequency.

like dave: I always have the drive at max - and sometimes still feel that it's not enough. maybe, you could let us get also some overdrive/distortion kind of sound with lampthruster?

I do not plan this for Lampthruster. However, I do plan to continue experiments with harmonic distortion. It is just true that I'm still not satisfied with what I have. These approaches sound good if distortion is comparably low (like what we have in Lampthruster), but when you add more drive, it starts to sound bad ("farty" and harsh).

Aleksey,
Glad you are still experimenting with harmonic distortion. I think I've posted in this forum more than once to encourage experiments with Lampthruster, so here's one more: I hope you don't forget or overlook this plugin/approach in the future. I'd love to see a different harmonic enhancement approach in it (to compliment the existing one), and possibly other revisions. I don't know, for example, if Lampthruster oversamples? (Can't remember.) Also, curious if any updates could be made to the filters so they could, in theory, provide "air" boosts as smooth as any EQ you have. Etc, etc, etc.... wouldn't surprise me if this plug eventually evolved into being your #1 EQ plug.

Lampthruster performs 2x oversampling. Lampthruster will be updated with the wave of plug-in updates I plan for the next year. I'm pretty sure many aspects will be refined or improved in these releases.
