I tryed to use HarmoniEQ for mastering and came across a bizzare issue.  Every kick's hit and bass's note turned a volume of a whole track up, for a short time but still...  This 'feature' doesn't sound as a tube/tape type of compression to me, to be honest.  It is more like an 'expansion' then a 'compression'.  Is it suppose to be like that?

Thanks,
Vitaly.

At extreme EQ settings HarmoniEQ may sound like that, but generally its action should be smoother.

You may try the latest beta version and its PhasyP mode - it does not have such behavior at all.

Yep!  And now, I love it!

Good to know :)
