Voxengo HarmoniEQ
Thanks so much for the HarmoniEQ update. It sounds amazing. I'm finally getting the sounds on my songs that I've been trying to get for years. I use it in my mastering chain. It gives me a airy presence that's not harsh. The compressed settings are just great. They give me a smoothness that I've been looking for for my solo classical guitar pieces that have been difficult in the past.
The mastering chain I've been using recently, all Voxengo, is Tapebus, CurveEQ, Polysquasher (also a great update-wow!), HarmoniEQ, Elephant. I've been having a lot of success with that combo but I'm wondering if you have any suggestions or feedback about it. Thanks for your great work.
I’ve tried countless vocal plugins over the past two years, including the hyped Soothe2 and Nectar2, but they all fell short of expectations. Then I remembered a mix session at a friend's place over 15 years ago, where I used Voxengo's HarmoniEQ on some rough vocals. I was blown away by the result but forgot about it for a while.
Recently, I had another set of problematic vocals and decided to revisit Voxengo. Now, I will be using HarmoniEQ on almost everything, it just delivers a perfect sound. I can’t even comprehend what’s happening under the hood.
Great work, Voxengo!
It's pretty simple why Voxengo plugins are so good - Alexsey has a better ear compared to other developers.
His plugins sound so 'musical'. I've used many other plugins that technically perform their designed function, yet somehow just don't sound good.
I now have a whole set of expensive plugins that are just taking up drive space. They simply don't sound as good as thier Voxengo counterparts.
