Voxengo VariSaturator 1.12 saturation plugin released - Press Release
March 14, 2019: Voxengo VariSaturator version 1.12 update is now available for download. VariSaturator is an audio effect plugin designed to apply saturation and overdrive effects to audio material. VariSaturator is available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST and VST3 plugin formats (including native 64-bit support), for macOS (v10.7 and later), and Windows computers.
Version 1.12 includes the following changes:
- Added ProTools 12+ AAX-64 support.
- Added Retina support on macOS, and automatic high-resolution UI size adjustment on Windows.
- 10% lower CPU usage on AVX2-capable processors (in 64-bit mode).
For your information, VariSaturator is an audio effect plug-in designed to apply saturation effects over audio material. It can be used both to boost the loudness of the audio tracks, and to apply subtle or strong harmonic coloration. VariSaturator features two saturation modules which are applied in sequence, in two-band mode each, and implements a wet/dry mix parameter thus offering a comprehensive control over saturation characteristic.
