Recently purchsed the Pristine Space Lite (just in time I see!!).  I really like it.  Just sounds much more real to me and I've tried a bunch of reverbs freebies and demos the last few months.  Doesn't leave a "ring" behind.

I've also been also searching for something that sounded good with Acoustic guitar and the Pristine did the job.  The long reverbs sounded much better to me than many others.  It also seems stronger to me using it in the Aux track of Sonar thus giving me less dry and more verb.  Can't wait to get the Impuls Modeler.

All-in-all I'm glad I got it and looking forward to learning the controls better.

God bless

I love all my Voxengo plugins.  My mastering chain is basically Crunchessor->CurveEQ->Elephant and the results are great.  Crunchessor also gets a lot of use when tracking since it can give a wide range of colors to my tracks.

I will definitely get some more stuff from Aleksey in the future.

I'd heard nothing but good things about Voxengo plugins, but had never tried them for myself, thinking "eh, they're just more audio plugins, I've got a folder full of them".  Man, was I wrong.  I first tried Pristine Space, and then purchased the Light version when it was released, as it was perfect for my needs.  I was immediately impressed with the detailed tweakability, which allowed me to perfectly customize reverb impulses.  While I was on the site, I also downloaded the Voxformer demo.  I tried it out on the lead vocals of a track that I'd recorded and mixed a couple of weeks earlier, and THE VERY FIRST PRESET I pulled up sounded ten times better than the EQ and compression I'd spent hours tweaking on the original mix (and I'm talking about well-known, high quality plugins).  Right of the bat I was getting smooth, airy vocal tones that I'd never been able to acheive before.  Three or four minutes of tweaking and I was sold.  Voxformer is quite simply the best plugin for vocals I've ever heard.  Like a great piece of analog hardware, it's hard to make it sound bad.  Anywhere I twisted the knobs sounded fantastic.  I'm no expert engineer, but I've been a working musician for nearly twenty years, and this plugin delivers precisely what I need: great sound without a lot of hassle (and without breaking my wallet).  I'll definitely be a return customer.  The hard part will be deciding what to get next!  Thanks for the fantastic sound.

I’ve been fascinated by the impulse response technique ever since the beginning of the 1990ies and followed the development and improvements that this technique could offer in the reverberation aria ever since.  I’ve used Pristine Space Light together with Impulse modeler since Pristine Space Light was first released.  My impression is that the quality is outstanding and could compare to software solutions way up in the price list.

Let me give you an example: Lately there have been a release within a very big company (no names given) which combines what they call High definition impulse response together with traditional solutions for reverberation.  I took a vocal track (dry) and added some HDIR and modified it to my taste.  I spent about 4 hours (mostly because of curiosity) to get it right.  This new software is in fact impressive.

Then I designed a room of comparable size with Impulse modeler and imported to pristine space light and applied it on my vocal track.  I made adjustments of my taste and noticed that there is absolutely no modification restrictions in PSL compared to the very big company’s newly released product.  When I was satisfied with the result, I made an A/B comparison.

Guess what?  Pristine Space Light + IM sounded better, warmer and more natural.  I tested the comparison on a few of my colleges and their opinion was the same.

It’s fair to give “the big company” credit in that I was not used to their GUI and have used PSL+IM for a while.  It could be that I did not use the full capacity of the newly released product from the big company.  But then again, it took me about 45 minutes (compared with 4 hours) to beat the big company’s quality reverb convolution.  In my opinion, there is not that much to discuss.

This is in no way a scientific correct comparison between software solutions but one thing is without any doubt, the capacity to modulate impulse response is far better in PSL.  And – in my view, you get better quality in terms of

1) Natural sounding

2) Realistic sound

with PSL.

Did I mention that the big company’s software costs around three times as much as PSL+IM together?  But then again, this is not a fair way to compare software since the big company’s software is not able of modeling your own acoustic room.  You are bound to use already made “standard” rooms or other solutions.  So it’s fairer to compare PSL (solely) with the big company’s software.  Then the big company’s software is about six times as expensive and not really any better.

My hat is of for Aleksey Vaneev.

I was searching a pro audio forum one day trying to find a good noise reduction plugin.  Someone made the comment to get over the "free" plugin mentality and spend money on a quality plugin.  He suggested that Redunoise was unbelievable for the money with outstanding, accurate quality.  I tried the demo and quickly purchased it.  I have now also added PSL, Voxformer, CurveEQ, and Lampthruster to my line up.  The results are so perfectly musical!  And the prices are unheard of.  I wonder how much I would need to spend on external gear to end up with the same sonic results.  And all the plugins travel so nicely on my laptop when I'm out of the studio.  These plugins are worth far more than is charged.  Voxengo gives me the perfect sound every time.  I cannot say enough about the value and quality of each plugin I've tried.  Good work Voxengo.
