Dear Voxengo users,
During the period between December 9th, 2009 and December 31th, 2009 we are offering 15% discount on all Voxengo software title purchases (upgrades are not eligible for this discount except their usual 50% discount from the full price). Moreover, by ordering two or more products you will get an additional discount (subject to the discount schedule presented on the order page).
Voxengo wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2010!

Upgrades not eligible? Meaning we don't get 20% off on an upgrade, we only get 15% off? Or do you intend to gouge us, soon-to-be-formerly loyal returning customers?
Harsh language intended, no smiley. I didn't order GlissEQ v2 just now, and probably won't, because of the message you've sent me. I went from happy to unhappy in a few tenths of a second. It took you YEARS to get me to this point, and a fraction of a second to undo all that good will.

When you upgrade, you get 50% off the full price, without any additional discount. This message mentioned that you do not get an additional discount on top of 50% upgrade discount.

you may be the very first individual i've run across that has complained about voxengo's pricing system. these plugins are TOP-NOTCH quality, and, at these prices, an absolute bargain.
i suspect you have a hidden agenda. either way, aleksey has a great many customer who would consider themselves more than satisfied. i'm sure he won't miss you...

Well, I admit my original mailing list message was a bit vague about upgrades - my fault, next time I'll try to be more specific. In either case, upgrade costs 50% of the full price.

To the poster who decided to chime in and make it personal:
1. I didn't understand that this discussion was between anyone except me and Aleksey, and as far as SWANG is concerned, it still is.
2. The information that I was was not vague, it was misleading, and it made me feel like I was getting a 5% (not 50%) discount where others would get 15%.
3. Aleksey has acknowledged the error and corrected it. I don't care what "SWANG" thinks about it.

if you'd like to ensure that in the future no one chimes in on your "private discussion", you might consider holding that conversation IN PRIVATE. that's what email is for...or so they tell me.
this is called a "forum", not "james0tucson's litter box"...thankfully...
happy holidays! [that was a private message to aleksey, btw. nice language intended. here's my smiley :-) ]

Your original email was very clear Aleksey. Unfortunately, james0tucson got angry before he took the time to read and understand it. Your standard 50% discount for upgrades is MORE than fair, and we appreciate the other discounts as well.
I originally started using your products on Windows when yours seemed to be the only professional-sounding products available, back when I was running Logic on Windows. Now that I'm running on Macs (still a very happy Logic user), I'm happy that you're porting more and more of your excellent products to the Mac (and very appreciative of the 50% upgrade discount :). The quality of your products are stellar. I use them on every song and soundtrack that I write/produce/mix. I'd keep them as a "secret weapon", except that I'm too kind for that, so I recommend them to others whenever the opportunity arises (better for you, and better for me, because then you can continue to support them and create more :).
Happy New Year!
