Forums     Plugins     CurveEQ Control points "keyboard" idea

Hi,

I am a new proud owner of the stunning CurveEQ.

Besides the fact that I would like to have a PDF file of the manual I have this idea:

Print soft in the background of CurveEQ the mouse button functions and keyboard functions for the "control points"

-double click left mouse = remove point

-double click red point = back to 0dB

and so on...

Or maybe better a F1 (manual/help) inside the plug-in.

Regards,

Rob

OK, I'll see what I can do.

BTW, what do you think about the newest CurveEQ beta and its 'freehand' mode? (you can check the info in the 'releases' forum).

Aleksey, your freehand idea is wonderful.  Very impressive.  Thanks again!

Good to hear.  Actually, this is nothing really new, but I'm glad CurveEQ users can benefit from it now.

I would find the soft lettering in the background distracting.  A simple "Help" or a double question mark in the UI would be better.  No big deal actually, because if the Run/Programs is available so is the manual.  Aleksey, thanks again for all your great work.

John

I think I'll just release a special skin for this case.

If you're working on the UI, is there any possibility of showing the dB scale of the spectrum meter -- perhaps it would be turned off by default, but could be turned on in the options page?

The new "freehand" mode works perfectly -- I haven't really had the time to experiment with it much, but I know that it's great to have another tool at my disposal -- I guess this is going to be really useful to quickly sketch out EQ curves.  Thanks for your hard work.

I'll check what I can do.  Maybe I'll make dB meters switchable between EQ and spectrum.

Hi,

Indeed, soft lettering could be distracting and makes the looks of the GUI less cool.

A help button (that always starts with the mouse/keyboard functions) would be best.

Need to read this new freehand issue.

Cheers,

Rob

Freehand mode is not documented, yet.
