On every session I work on, Voxengo Span is at the end of my chain.  I've created my own template which makes the curve flat for a pink noise.  Since most of today's music approximate a pink noise, that's makes it very relevant.  I also made the sampling time longer, which makes the curve less dynamic.  It seems to be more truthful to how we experience loudness.

I think Voxengo Span is a very simple, yet effective metering plugin.  Since it's free, it's an unbeatable value for the money.

This is UNREAL.  I cannot believe you re giving this away for free.  What a wonderful tool.  This has become my GOTO tool in my myriad of VST plugins.  Any company that can make something like this and more-so make it free is wonderful.  You have earned my respect, and soon, you will ern my money as a new customer.

Superb SPAN!  Solo voice narration is challenging to record well.  There's nothing to mask even slight noises.  With the help of SPAN, I have been able to upgrade my noise floor right across the spectrum, and review vocal habits.  Greatly superior to anything used before.  Can measure right down to digital nothingness, and resolve tight filter settings.  Perfect.  Big thanks to you Aleksey.

With the new SPAN 2.0, my trusted Pinguin metering is now gathering "cyber-dust" sitting on the "cyber-shelf".

Side by side they are 99.99.9% identical in readings and response time....but the visual cues in SPAN are just a lot easier on my old eye's.  Add in the K-Metering that everyone is so hot on and you got a great piece of software at my favorite price point!

I am amazed at the quality of the free software available today for us home studio owners, and Voxengo is leading the way....Thank You!

Voxengo SPAN deserves the reputation it has, without a doubt.  I've been using it in mastering for years now and has held its place in the studio without contest.  It does everything you need an analyzer to do; its easy to look at and has all the features to tailor the experience to your needs.  And does it get any better than free?  Definitely a must-have in any studio.

I have been using Voxengo tools in the mastering studio for as long as the studio has operated.  Unique tools that are designed for correcting real world problems at prices that suit wallets.  I am using Elephant, Warmifier and Soniformer here and whilst they are not used for every job they are a very important set of tools in my digital toolbox fitting in where other tools fail to meet the desired results.  The fact that every plug in has a free demo means you can assess the sound qualities in your own studio with your own music.  I always like to check back on the site to see if new innovative products have been developed.  Keep up the good work.

Hello,

I'm sort of new with DAW's, previously I "decided" to go with samplitude, but later found it to restrictive since it can't handle 7.1 surround (or itself without crashing), unless one looses his/her mind and cough's up $3000 for Sequoya.  My choice has fallen on Reaper, which is clearly above everything I've ever likely to come across.  As THE DAW it is capable of doing everything I / you could ever need, especially when combining it with Voxengo's plugins, WOW!, I mean you people are incredible, and I know that because my ears tells me so.  The end result is everything that ever mattered, which is why we're all doomed, but that's another story ;o)
