The Voxengo Suite has absolutely made music production and mixing more fun, efficient and creative.  The workflow and visualization of PrimeEQ has made it my go-to Parametric EQ and the sound is pristine.  Crunchessor, Marquis compressor and Deft Compressor are some of the smoothest and most flexible software compressors.  They all have such a wide "sweet spot" and it is hard to make them sound bad, allowing you to focus on creative decisions.  On the mixbus, polysquasher and soniformer are the only compressors I have tried that consistently provide truly transparent compression regardless of the material, while CurveEQ can effortlessly shape a full mix with complete transparency.  Finally Elephant delivers energy, smoothness and loudness like no other limiter, beating out everything else in my toolkit.  Its tweakability makes it suitable for any material.  The entire Voxengo suite of plugins really have something special going on.  No hype, just top level DSP, top level design and top level sound.

Initially bought the Warmifier to heat up a very solidstate guitar tone and have subsequently used it on my masters as well, brilliant bit of software, sounds so ...warm!  Definitely leading to the 12AT7 for the smoothness.  As a result of being so impressed I also bought HarmoniEQ and Marquis Comp which also sound lovely, very smooth and clean!

Good sound, good presets.  It takes no more than a minute to find a setting.

Voxengo plugins are the best computer related products I ever bought!  When I tried them I couldn't believe my ears.  How can they sound so good?!  I'm using a PC mostly, but own a MAC also.  I never thought I could get such a sound with my PC. (Sonar7 on a 64bit Vista Ultimate).  Voxengo have saved my musical life! "Sound with a Soul", takes my music and makes it fly...  Thank You very much!

I cannot believe that Warmifier gives BBE Sonic Maximizer a run for the money.  I was fixated on BBE, but after using Warmifier, there is so much more control that the BBE SM doesn't have: current, voltage tube emulation as well as tube makes/types, LE and HE filter adjustments as well as LE And HE EQ'ing.  Just disgusting! (Don't fret: that's a good disgusting LOL)

Sometimes I have to admit it: I get confused to using Lampthruster and Warmifer, but Warmifer is the unexpected lovechild of Voxengo TubeAmp & Voxengo Sonic Finalizer in my eyes!  I assume that Warmifer is better for the mastering phase when used with Marq.  Compressor, Soniformer and Elephant.....as Lampthruster is good for colorizing tracks in congregation with Voxengo Crunchessor, Voxengo GlissEQ, and Elephant, correct?

Well, enough of my raving.  I'm going back to using this bad boy.  Using Warmifier with AFChorus and Crysonic's Spectra'PE 32-bit limiter is a deadly combo, yo.

Over the years, Marquis has become my general-purpose compressor of choice.  It sounds great and "musical" on almost anything, even when pushed hard.  And whenever I think I've got "that sound", there's always a button or dial to take my sound even further...

Don't be put off by the looks of this compressor - this thing is a killer!

Marquis is still the best plugin compressor out there.  By far.  When it first came out, I loved it so much I sold my UAD-1 card.  Over the past couple of years, plenty of new sh@t-hot comps have come out.  And I eventually sold my Marquis license.  Juggling the latest and greatest 64 bit compressors eventually left me wanting (hardware?) though...so I downloaded the Marquis demo again.  Instant purchase.  Again.  Send in the Marquis 2 64 bit version!

Spasibo Aleksey!  And many thanks to all the guys that are creating such wonderful products!  I'm using plenty of plug-ins of many other sound effect companies, but since the time I come across the "Voxengo" ones there's no a single number/song of mine that I wouldn't want to use these outstanding plug-ins in my tracks/mixes.  I'm not talking about the price, because in my opinion considering their sound, easiness of use, in comparison with other overpriced products from other sites... - they are "free".  I'm impatiently waiting for your other stuff you'll come up with, I'm sure that they're going to be the same sound with a soul and as fantastic as they are now.

With a high respect I'm removing my hat before you guys.

I mainly use Marquis and Pristine Space light.  For me Marquis is one of the best comps out there since it covers a lot of different compressor types and it's very tweakable.  Pristine Space has all I want in a convolution plug.  I also have some of the more expensive stuff in my plugin folder but Voxengo holds its ground and gets used in every mix I do.

I must say I really like this approach to plugins.  Feature rich, plain but useful GUI's and some unique ideas.  Not to forget the fair prices.

Keep up the good work!

Joey

Voxengo is a great compressor, which you already know, I'm sure:-) Because there are a lot of parameters, it takes a while to learn where the special place is, but when you do, you can go anywhere from simple control to a signature sound for a particular vocalist.  Also, using the key feature, you can achieve nice deesing at the same stage as the overall compression; similar to to using a treble boosted signal to key the sidechain of a hardware compressor (as opposed to hard multiband compression de-essing, which many plug-in de-essers used).  This seems to work for many vocalists.
