I believe this may be used two different ways.
1. During tracking.... the signal recorded is the processed signal.
2. Post tracking.... applied in real time.
Is this correct? Since I bought a ton of your plugins, I like using several at once. I'm assuming that I can use method number one and then disable the plugin to save CPU?

This is a matter of taste. Some like to track 'dry' and some like to track 'wet'. In either case you'll have dry tracks at your disposal. You may then apply any FX you want.
Of course, to save CPU time you can disable plug-in any time you want.
