compression - expansion

In the description for Soniformer you mention that it "implements both compression and expansion".  By expansion do you mean a sort of gain make-up?  Are there controls for this?  Is the compression used similar to the mastering compression that you use in your other plug-ins like 'Elephant'?  Do you plan on making an OSX version?

Very nice piece of work by the way!

Thanks,
JR

"Expansion" is an inversion of compression: the level "expands" (increases) instead of compressing.  Soniformer allows you to set inverted ratios like 1:4.

Soniformer will be ported to Mac OS X eventually.
