Hi!  How are you?

I'm just starting to explore Soniformer (v2.5.1) so I used a couple of presets on my projects.  On one of the projects Soniformer generated some weird sine sound (around 220Hz I think).  My first thought was that maybe there is a problem between Soniformer and the other VST's/VSTi's in the project so I rendered the project but the same "sine" appeared in my Audio editor. The "sine" apppeared in several different places.

I used it first in FL Studio Producer Edition (v6) and WaveLab Lite (on Windows XP SP1), all the WAVs are 44,1000 / 16.
(My soundcard is M-Audio Audiophile 2496).

What could have caused this "sine"?

Thanks!

Here are some tests I did:

I'm an A$$, Soniformer wasn't even registrated!

But I have got an excuse: About a month ago I 'tweaked' my PC to a point I couldn't even log-on, so it turns out that Soniformer was the only app I forgot to register...

Sorry for waisting your time!

No problems!

I'll add an item to my to-do list to add a clear indication of 'demo' mode on the main screen - this is probably an aspect I've overlooked from the very start.  So, it's me who should be saying 'sorry'. :)

Ahmed, you are not alone. (I use CurveEQ, Soniformer & Elephant)
I'm embarrassed to admit how much time I spent chasing down the mysterious sine!
Same reasons: new computer/operating system/version upgrade of recording software to accommodate Vista/re-installed lots of stuff . . .  never occurred to me to re-register VST's.  Oops.

Anyway, once I determined where the sine was coming from I went to this site to see if it was my drivers needed updating . . .  saw 'sine' in the topic of your post . .  tremendous sense of relief along with feeling of idiocy.  All's well that ends well. :))
Yeah, Aleksey, a nag screen is probably in order.  BTW, thanks for a great product.

Thanks for your response.  Sorry for the inconvenience with the sine signal...
