I am trying to transcribe a WAV file using Dragon Naturally Speaking 10.0 Preferred. I got as far as downloading the r8brain and putting the file name in, then I got the message "unsupported tag 0031h and thus cannot be read." Can you help me? I usually use Swift's Express Scribe to type my transcriptions. Thank you.

This happens because the application you are using does not create PCM WAVE (uncompressed) files - tag 0031h refers to "GSM610" format which probably uses some kind of coding. Please check that application's user guide to see if it allows you to choose storage format.
