We have several hundred MP3 files that need to be resampled up to 44.1khz. In the past, we've used GoldWave to batch process ones with similar bitrate/sample rate combinations. We've found that we usually need to double the bit rate in order to lessen the amount of artifacts introduced (e.g. a 24bit/16k file would be resampled up to 48bit/44.1k) However, since we have so many files with such a mish-mash of bit/sample combos it's a tedious process.
Can one of the r8brain versions take all of the files and upsample them (keeping as much of the original quality as possible) independent of the original bit/sample combination?
Thanks,
D.
