Echo can be reduced by plug-ins like noise gates (e.g. the one found in Voxformer) and expanders. Multi-band compressor (Soniformer) can be used to reduce echo. Noise reduction plug-ins (Redunoise) can also reduce echo. You may also try TransGainer plug-in to make echo/reverb less audible.
Polysquasher can't help in echo and acoustic space removal.
