Yannick, my tests were without 1-bit conversion.  Of course, as a final step a carefully designed 1-bit noise-shaped conversion is necessary.  But that was just a test - not an actual feature.

Sounds intriguing -- I can't, for the life of me, see how upsampling 48 to 63 makes conversion to 44.1 faster -- if you can explain without giving away trade secrets I'd be interested to know ;)

I suspect this r8 Pro is going to be a must-have item for anyone working with digital audio :)

The larger the least common denominator of two samplerates is the faster the conversion runs, even if you need two runs.  Actually, this is the only 'trade secret' about such 'full' conversion.

What is the formula for working out the lowest common denominator between 2 numbers?

I forget my math these days.

I do know how to go from 96 - 44.1 in whole numbers, but no other formulae.

I've mistaken here - it should be *largest* common denominator.  It is calculated iteratively (no actual formula).
