Just trying to figure out if I'm understanding correctly...

If I am using slots 1 and 2 for left and right, and a single stereo impulse file, do I need to load the impulse in slots 1 and 2 or just into slot 1?

You do not need to use slot 2. You may load a single stereo file into slot 1 alone.
