Hi All.
My own stupid fault for not checking - but it seems that PHA-979 is not multichannel capable despite being multichannel aware.
This caused a serious system crash & Irretrievably corrupted a project today when I inserted an instance of the plugin to the 5.1 master buss, and on checking found that all 6 channels were showing as "passing through" the plugin.
On finding no way to set the routing for 5.1 operation, I unloaded the plugin.
On closing the Nuendo project I get the "Sorry, a serious error has occurred" and the resulting crash log shows the same errors that are created when the broken WizooVerb 5 is loaded into a 5.1 track.
The project is completely & irretrievably hosed & corrupted now (my fault) and will need to be started over from scratch.

I'm deeply sorry for this problem. Plug-in is indeed not multi-channel capable, but in this case it's Nuendo's flaw: plug-in explicitly tells it supports 4in/2out configuration only - and still Nuendo tries to setup surround configuration. Seems like another quirk of VST spec I wasn't aware of - will fix this in the future update. But I think a similar problem may manifest with some other stereo VST plug-ins, even from other vendors - so, please be aware.
