Dry mix set 100 % but still colours sound

I was just experimenting with the dry mix and just decided to put it into 100 % dry , when i bypassed it I notice that just the audio going through the plug in even a 100 % dry has a change in tone .  So it is not completely transparent .  I love this compressor but it does have a real hard edge to it .  I find it can be a bit much to my source material as I do really hard punchy stuff .  Any thoughts ?  Thanks Ariel

Just figured it out ;) The settings used soft , sharp or clean ;) clean is the transparent one ;) wow what an in depth unit !! brilliant - Thanks

OK, glad you've got this one resolved.
