does the red segment at the top represent clipping (digital distortion) in marquis?
if so, it seems marquis clips easily. but i can't hear any digital distortion.
please explain. thx!

meter overshoots displayed in red
Marquis itself does not clip signal. When output meters show clipping it means that signal goes above metering range, but the actual clipping is not performed. The same is true about input meter - if it shows clipping it simply means input signal has gone above input meter range.
