I wanted to know which version to download ? ....

the OCT27th 1.0.1 or the 1.0.3 beta, and what would be the difference?

Thank You

I suggest you to check out beta 1.0.3 since it has all the new features available to date.  It should be also as stable as the release version if not better.

Got it

tHANKS MR V !

Waiting to try the 1.0.3 beta.

Aleksey, are you going to incorporate new presets in future versions?

The ones posted by kilroy in the KVR thread are very interesting, as they show how powerful and versatile Marquis is

ciao

Francesco

I think I'll include some more presets which use the latest compressor additions.

Oh Good.

This is rapidly becoming one of my "reach for" vocal compressors.

Going to try it on a buss soon...

Great!

Let me know about your experiences with on bus use.

That should be a thing of taste I guess as Marquis introduces a lot of phase coloration, stereo field adjustment and a'la tube transient crunching (at least how I understand it).

Aleksey Vaneev: Great!

sorry to hijack the thread Aleksey, but my recent expiriences of Marquis on full mixes has been nothing but pleasure!!!

Recent customers material ive been working on needed multiband due to the slightly " Un-uniform" balance, but I used Marquis on a recent Dance album and it outperformed the most hyped and expensive plugs i have.

What is it about the combo of "round" and "T3-soft" mode that sounds so smooth?  I love it !

cheers,

Ged, thanks for your feedback.  While 'round' detector and 'soft' coloration are my creations, T3 compression mode was designed after some highly regarded analog compressor from the past.

Thank god you implemented it...  It's brilliant!!!
