I'm new to this forum, so I apologize if this has been asked before:
Has anybody tried to deconvolve musical recordings with the room they were made in? I have a lot of recordings (mostly chamber music) performed under "less than perfect" acoustic circumstances, but just adding reverb makes it even worse (it's convolved with two different rooms now).
I read some nice papers about this to improve speech regognition, though I haven't found a tool (dx or vst plugin) that seems to be able to do the job (the deconvolver only works with very small files, right?).
So, has anybody tried it? Do I have to use Matlab after all...
