Hi everybody,

I have a bunch Samplitude impulses with extensions:

rms

rmsx

rmsy

Is there any way to convert them to wavs?

It would be a great feature in the Impulse Modeler.

I mean import of sfi and those rms.

I don't think this is possible.  IM is a designer tool - it cannot perform this kind of 'reverse-engineering'.

Apparently this can be done easily enough in Samplitude itself - admittedly not much help if you don't have it.

Try over on www.noisevault.com - maybe someone there knows better!

In a case you don't have Samplitude you still can do this if your sound card can play/record from one type of a driver to another one, eg ASIO>>MME.

1.Have Sam Demo

2.Have any audio editer eg SF, Wavelab...

3.Choose ASIO for Sam and MME for SF

4.To play an impule in Sam use a tip from 'sfi-wav' topic on this forum

5.Hit 'Record' in SF

6.Hit 'Play' in Sam

Thus, you can record(not convert) the impulse.
