Forums     Plugins     GlissEQ PC VST 32-bit problems - no spectrum and no meters (intermittently)

Host is Nuendo 5.5.2.

The display of both spectral plots and the meters is intermittently not working.

On initial load, I had nothing at all, then after closing the plugin it worked again on reopening.  Funniest thing of all (funny peculiar as opposed to funny "ha ha") is that when I drag/copied to another group channel, the displays all packed it in again.

Setup is from folder tracks with 4 audio channels all routed to a subgroup, with GlissEQ in the subgroup.  Nuendo NPR available if needed.

Simply use the Support page (above).

Hi,

I've just purchased Gliss and this is also happening. (vst version / latest ableton / osx 10.7).  It's only a minor annoyance as if I change one of the imported instances, the spectrums all seem to appear again but thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for a lovely plugin!

It's a strange issue since I think it was fixed already.  On what stage this issue happens?  After you load project, when you close and reopen plug-in's window or purely randomly?

Hi Aleksey

Thanks for your response.  I did a quick screencast to show you the issue.  It is indeed only when I close the plugin window and then reopen it and if I change any of the import settings, they suddenly come back.

Highlighting another track so the plugin window loses focus does not trigger the issue.

Also, (another small issue and this may be intended behaviour I haven't figured out yet) as you can see at the end of the video, if I change the display from default to default, suddenly the spectrums are coloured in (before they were just a line showing peaks).

Anyway, these are small issues which I can easily work around but thought I'd try to provide some helpful feedback.

Alex

Thanks for the video - very useful!  We'll be trying to fix this issue.
