GlissEQ 2.9.1 in REAPER 3.05

-> insert GlissEQ
-> tweak a knob

-> UNDO

=> Plugin gets removed!?  Why is this?

FIXED (REAPER 3.06pre6)

Please ask Reaper developers about this situation.  I'm unaware why this happens.  On the other hand, older Voxengo plug-ins do not use "begin automation/end automation" events.  Probably, Reaper developers decided not to create undo data in such case.

So you're saying that REAPER should know of knob movements done via mouse drag to save and re-load the plugin state?

Dandruff, it could do that since plug-in sends automation events.

Answer from a REAPER developer:

schwa:Try 3.04 or 3.06.  In 3.05 the undo point behavior was changed (because of your bug report) to immediately write the undo point when the plugin says the knob move is done.  That plugin never says the knob move is done.  3.06 handles this type of plugin error by assuming that 0.75 seconds of inactivity means the knob move is done.

But 3.06 (and 3.04 if I remember correctly) has the same problem.  Somehow REAPER isn't recognizing the parameter changes :(

Yes, knob inactivity threshold can be used as "automation end" event - so you only need to wait for a correct implementation.

Ok, thanks!

It's nice to see that Dandruff is an equal opportunity terrier.
