I recently compared many EQ plugins.  I used to only work with a very good track insert plugin but I thought the EQ was lacking precision and sounding a little "harsh".
I was very surprised to hear that many EQ plugins are sounding quite different, just dialing the same parameters can sound very different from one eq to another!!
So far I'm in love with GlissEQ, it sounds very musical and precise.  Where I find it most stunning is for boosting highs or cutting lows.  It can do a very sweet job and doesn't have the "harsh" sound of other eqs.  Another thing that is great is the size of the spectrum display.  And the Christmas discount came right on time, thanks Aleksey!
