You can change that behavior in the Spectrum Mode Editor by setting the Slope to a different value.

The reason is that higher frequencies in musical material are usually diminishingly less powerful than lower frequencies. Without such slope it may be a bit hard to monitor the higher frequencies. Moreover, classical analog spectrum analyzers have a natural +3dB/oct slope toward the higher frequencies.

If you wonder why it's +4.5 dB/oct instead of +3 dB/oct, the reason is the same - because for musical signals it's more practical.
