Can you see the waveforms in Elephant as you edit them.


No, but you can use something like Bram's s(M)exoscope

Insert one before and another after Elephant, and I think you should get a pretty good picture - I haven't used it for Elephant specifically, though.  Use the different sync/freeze options to get a clear "snapshot" view.


I'm new to this forum but it seems that people give suggestions and the genius makes 'em happen.  So seeing the waveform is my suggestion.  It definitely looks like I'll be buying this in the near future.


Jay, it's not really a useful idea to 'see' the waveform.  In most audio editors you can see it after applying Elephant while in real-time work the most important thing is the sound.
