Just a quick release note here.  It is a great pleasure for us at Voxengo to announce a new version of CurveEQ - a fantastic linear-phase spline equalizer PC VST plug-in!  Now CurveEQ allows users to zoom to a desired frequency band for finer frequency response curve adjustments. "dB scale" can be also changed now.  The most important is that now CurveEQ uses industry standard LOG frequency scale.  This also allowed to considerably increase the quality of spectrum matching.

For more information, please, visit this URL: http://www.voxengo.com/curveeq/

Along with CurveEQ we are pleased to announce a new FREE graphic equalizer PC VST plug-in: Voxengo EssEQ VST!  This is a "fast and easy" digital linear-phase graphic equalizer delivering a very nicely-sounding equalization.  EssEQ has seven frequency bands suitable for any typical EQ work.  EssEQ is an essential equalizer suited for any fast frequency balance adjustments.  Check out EssEQ's factory presets to see how well it performs its work!  And again, it is FREE.

Hi Aleksey

I am using Wavelab 4.0.

CurveEQ 1.5 worked fine.

When CurveEQ 1.6 is saved as part of a Master Section Preset in Wavelab and is recalled 2 or 3 times the filter responce reverts back to its reset responce.  For now I am going to use CurveEQ 1.5

Regards

Dave

Hello, Dave!

Such behaviour is highly unexpected...  I also could not reproduce it in WaveLab3.

Anyways, I have removed one thing connected with presets that *might* be buggy.

You can check the updated version at: http://www.voxengo.com/VoxengoCurveEQ.dll

Hope it works.  If it does not, please, contact me via e-mail (or through Contacts page).  If it does work, please, write here so others can benefit from this info and the updated version.

Cheers,

Aleksey

Hello Aleksey

I tried the new VoxengoCurveEQ.dll in Wavelab 4.0g and now sometimes the filter responce will not show up but the frequency control points will.

I have captured a picture off the graphic display using screen capture software and would send you a copy but I do not have an email address.

Regards

Dave

Dave, I have sent you a newer version via e-mail.

Those, who are interested in some testing can download newer version here: [url]http://www.voxengo.com/VoxengoCurveEQ.dll.

Cheers,

Aleksey

Thanks Aleksey

This new version seems to have fixed the problem.  If it happens again I will let you know

thanks again

Dave

Hi Aleksey

I guess I spoke to soon because the problem is still there.  I am however able to get the frequency responce curve to come back if I click once within the CurveEQ window.

thanks

Dave

Okay.  Here's the next version.  In parallel I have fixed some minor bug.  Actually, I want to say 'excuse me' for such a long bugfixing.  The fact I cannot reproduce this bug makes bugfixing rather difficult.  But still I'm highly interested in making v1.6 fully working.

Thanks,
