Hi Aleksey,

Is there a chance you will implement this GREAT sounding EQ from Lampthruster into CurveEQ??  I would realy like to use this EQ algor. with all the nice features of CurveEQ, especially with SpectruMatch.  Lampthruster EQ sounds sooooooo pretty nice analog and has its own "life". please please please implement it beside Linear Phase and Minimum Phase into CurveEQ.

Best Whishes.

Lampthruster demo is brilliant.  I think SpectruMatch paired with the sound quality of Lampthruster would be a winner.  A delay and feedback section would also be nice to create analogue sounding delay.

I'm glad you like the Lampthruster.  However, I currently don't plan to make any combo out of it.  I really think that chaining it after CurveEQ or Sonic Finalizer will give the necessary flavour, at least it will sound very close to a built-in EQ.

In fact, Lampthruster can be used after ANY processing.  Due to the fact that LT adds a great amount of harmonics, it will serve as a 'solidifying' effect, giving to any previous processing more character.

to sad :( i would realy like to use the EQ-Algo from Lampthruster for Spectrumatching, but that wont be possible if i add it after CurveEQ or wont be the same from the sound.  Why not just adding the EQ Algo to CurveEQ like you already implemented Minimum Phase, why not a 3rd one?

Greets.

Check out http://www.simulanalog.org for DSP information regarding analogue modeling.  Their free guitar plugins are better than all of the expensive ones.

Mastermind, LT can't be easily integrated into CurveEQ.

tacitus, simulanalog does not provide implementations (no DSP in fact).  It is useless for developers.  Tube stage math they derived is pretty obvious I would say, and that's only a small part of modeling.  Maybe they are simply planning to go commercial.

Have you heard the "Manley Massive Passive" tube eq impulses at:-

http://www.echochamber.ch

Yes, I have.  But they are not really very usable since they show off only the 'static' EQ picture of this device.

right, impulses wont add harmonics, they only represent the frequency response and the impulse response but no harmonic distortions what is the importants thing for tube gear, so such kinds of impulses are pretty useless :( but please try anyway to implement the lampthruster EQ algo into curveeq, you have done SO many great plugs that i would wonder that it would be a problem for a coder like you to implement a algo from one to another from your own plugins.

Regards
