When I apply an EQ curve to an audio file, it usually changes the overall volume level of the music. Is there a way to retain the original volume level?

This can't be done automatically, but CurveEQ displays the output/input signal level difference in the Out meter. You can then adjust the output gain.

Aleksey, thank you very much for your kind reply. I hadn't noticed this feature before so I've learned something new today! I can make the new audio file the same volume as the old file by moving the whole curve up or down until the volume difference is zero. It will make things much easier for me so thank you very much. - Richard
