When I try and render in Wavelab 4.0g the Voxengo Curve EQ renders it into a mono file.  Nothing I seem to be able to do will make it Stereo.  Any ideas would be most appreciated.  It was working fine and then all of a sudden it started making everything mono.  I checked the help file and the forum but could not find any mention of the problem or a solution.

Using your plugin with PSP VST and Waves plugins.

Thanks!

If your file is mono, result will be mono too...  Or what do you mean it renders in mono and not in stereo?

Yes it was a stereo file and after I rendered it the file was MONO.

I took the voxengo out of the rendering process and the file was rendered stereo I put the voxengo back into the chain and the file came out mono again.  I have upgraded to BETA V1.7 and so far it is working correctly.  Your EQ sounds GREAT and as a mastering engineer it is something I have long wanted.  Keep up the GREAT work.  If you need more info let me know.

OK, good you have upgraded to v1.7 beta.  Actually, it is nearly a release version.

It happened again.

I was using your voxengo eq plug in (which I love) with Waves C4 and Wave Rennisance EQ 4 band and the rendering took 7 minutes for a 4 minute piece and produced a mono file.  If I use your plugin by itself it works fine.  If I use Waves plugins they work fine but when I try and use them both I get a rendered MONO file.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

But when you do a playback without 'render' what do you get?  Does sound also comes in mono?

And just to clarify things a bit..  So, you have a stereo file and then you get a mono, one channel file?

The file plays back in stereo.  If I do a dump from Wavelab to Wavelab, in other wordsplayback from Wavelab and record back into Wavelab everything works ok. it is only when I try and render that it does not work and produces a mono (left channel) file.  Hope this helps.  I did a mastering job yesterday with your EQ and the client was thrilled with the results but I had to do it by playing back and recording the file not by rendering it,

Any light you could shead on this problem would be most APPRECIATED

I'm sorry for this behaviour, Thomas.  What version CurveEQ plug-in states?  Actually, I had the same problem and I thought solved it, but seems like that's not the case.

My version of Curve EQ is 1.7 BETA and the version of Waves is 3.5.

This is such a GREAT program it is to bad it is having these problems.

Thanks for anything you can do.

I mean, which version exactly... v1.7u or some other?
