New beta version of CurveEQ was released, here is what was changed from the previous beta release:

* Now spectrums can be updated with inertia which means they will update smoothly and more meaningfully.

* Saturator now works before EQ section.  This allowed a more precise control over what saturator does.

* Right mouse button on Gear options and VP selector can be used to swiftly switch to Off state and back to its original value.  This is useful to monitor colouration change.

Hi Aleksey,

How long should I capture/match a spectrum for?  Or is it done on a snapshot of the exact moment you stop the capture?

Cheers

MD

It is better to capture for as long as you can.  CurveEQ uses averaging during capture.

Thank you for making the Sat pre eq, works much better now for me.  Can you give us any idea on the attack and release times on the different settings?  I wish one of them was a little bit faster.  It could sound really good on drums but it sounds like it needs to be a little bit snappier in order to keep the groove right.  A setting similar to 10ms attack and 200ms on release would work nice.  Or maybe make the settings quicker as the threshold gets lower.

Ok, I got what you need.  Actually, both attack and release settings could be added...  I just need a bit of thought how to do it right...  But there will be a drawback of course of loosing any previously tuned settings.  Anyways I'll try to do something because lack of additional control annoys me sometimes too...  No promises though...
