Voxengo SPAN 2.0 is now available for download. SPAN is a freeware real-time “fast Fourier transform” audio spectrum analyzer plug-in for professional music and audio production applications. For the most part it was derived from Voxengo GlissEQ dynamic parametric equalizer and reproduces its spectrum analysis functionality.
The following features were added in SPAN version 2 since version 1:
- Multi-channel analysis
- Mid/side analysis
- Correlation meter
- Multi-platform support
- Undo/redo
- Preset manager
- User interface coloration
- User interface re-scaling
- Plug-in instance naming
Voxengo SPAN and other professional audio plug-ins can be downloaded at

Aleksey,
the "VST function sync" setting isn't working or recalled properly in SPAN. I've enabled it all other plugins but SPAN shows it as disabled. If you enable it in SPAN is actually gets disabled for all other plugins :(

Also why no spectrum export/import to/from other SPAN instances like we have in GlissEQ?
I'll check the "VST Function sync" option.
Spectrum export/import is a feature for GlissEQ - I'm not interested in giving it for free.

Next bug:
-> Stereo group
-> set Meter to K-20 and density enabled
-> save as default preset
-> remove SPAN
-> add SPAN again
=> Meter graphics not using K-20 but dBFS instead (although the scale is still showing K-20) :(
OK, thanks for reporting - I'll check this out and fix when possible.

Hi Aleksey,
why it has been reduced the "db Scale range" from v1.9.1?
For me, and for classical music involved people, it was very handful to go down to -130 db scale.
I am missing something?
Thank you in advance,
andrea
