Hey Aleksey,
Sorry to ask a very broad question, but I was wondering:
I know that you employ phase shifting/smearing techniques to apply color in a lot of your plugins. Which of your plugins does this in a way that would make them unsuitable for any sort of Parallel processing? It seems to me that the Marquis Compressor, for one, can't really be used in parallel compression, for example, at least in the traditional sense. I understand that the Dry knob is a way to employ a similar effect within the plugin, but I'm referring more to a situation where there are two exact copies of a track , or a bus send, and only one is running the plugin.
Thanks in Advance,
Dan
P.S. - I'm loving the VariSaturator demo so far. Probably going to purchase it soon.....

Yes, the question is too broad and I would probably have to answer 'all plug-ins' except maybe CurveEQ and Elephant and Pristine Space. Dynamics plug-ins usually have a DC filter that makes parallel mixing unperfect.

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought you'd say.
Follow up: is the phase altered exactly the same for a plug like Marquis, as long as you're using the same settings (Soft, Phasy, etc)? So, as long as I have an instance of the plug on both tracks, using the same coloring settings (Soft, Phasy, for example), would it eliminate the phase issues we're referring to?

Usually, yes, it will eliminate phasing issues.

Yes , I have run into "phase" from the transformer down the street phase transition from different equpiment... there is a good chance I could tell when the brunett is running her hair dryer an what setting it's on ....Laughs. A good phase correlation meter helps... BBE has a good grasp on the subject. Aleksey's plug ins gives this a wobble here an there I find nothing major, he does a good quality job of working on the right side of the decimal point. Cheers, John J Krupinski
