Forums     Discussions     AcuDrums Drum Samples What drum modules are supported?

Hi Aleksey.

You got me again, I think, as I am a sucker for drum libraries on the grounds you cannot have too many.....

So before I dent my long suffering credit card again, can you please let me know if I can use these multi-velocity samples in BFD2 and/or Drumagog 5?

When I need replacements I usually trigger BFD2 through drumagog.......

BFD2 and Drumagog are not supported since these are proprietary formats.  I've mainly aimed at NKI and SFZ instrument users as among universal formats they are most wide-spread and sufficiently "open".

Okay, I can understand perhaps BFD2 not working well - although I should be able to load the samples in, no?, but GOG files are definitely proprietary.....

Still, I ought to be able to make my own I guess.

Is there any way I can test this at all?

(NKI for me is a horrible experience, as it invokes Kontakt - which I hate with a passion.  Sorry.....)

BFD2 is completely proprietary as well - you have to sign an NDA with FXpansion to get the access to their format, and probably sign an additional commercial contract.

Unfortunately, building full-featured instrument files out of WAV files manually is very tedious even considering the WAV files in the library are clearly sorted.

HI

I bought 1 of the snares today and it sounds fantastic.  I use them in Slate Trigger and I was able to make most of my samples in no time at all in there instrument editor.  I could do 1 set of center snare files in about 5 mins.

Hope this helps.
